0ghost Reloaded privacy policy

0cog Inc. makes 0ghost Reloaded.

0ghost Reloaded doesn't collect personal data, whether you play it in your browser or in the iPhone, iPad or Android app. It has no accounts, no advertising and no analytics.

The camera is used only when you turn it on, for the camera mode or a ghost selfie: the picture is shown on your screen and is never recorded or sent. The motion sensors turn the view as you move, and that data never leaves the game.

For a selfie, the game cuts you out of the picture on your device with Google's MediaPipe, which comes with the game: a selfie makes no request to Google and works offline, and the game blocks the usage statistics MediaPipe would otherwise send to Google. A selfie leaves your device only if you choose to share it, through your system's share sheet. In the iPhone and iPad app, saving it to Photos asks for permission to add photos, never to read your library.

Your best score, energy, settings and language are saved only on your device: in your browser's local storage, or in the app's own storage. Clearing the site's data in your browser, or deleting the app, deletes them.
